Halftime update from the Trop. Tuskers trail the Locos 14 – 7

After the first half of play, the Tuskers look roughly as inept as the Buccaneers so I doubt that the shit-talking will continue this week. There have been a PILE of turnovers so far with a few nice trick plays sprinkled in. The league is fun to watch. It really is. The play is not the caliber of the NFL. That is OK. It is an inexpensive and good time for the family folks.

Brooks Bollinger, who has been a flat out stud thus far, was victimized by his receivers fumbling away completions. The Locos, behind the arm of JP Losman are giving giving the undefeated Tuskers all they can handle. Remember, however, the NY Sentinels did the same thing earlier this year only to get BLOWN OUT in the second half. Coach Haslett has a lot of talent here and that depth serves the Florida squad well.

If this game follows the same script, the superior talent of the Florida squad should overcome this deficit in the second half but to be honest, a loss for the Tuskers may actually be good for the league. There is some sentiment that the disparity in NFL talent on this team is unfair. Right now, Las Vegas is not impressed.
